Dr. Robert B. Cohen is an economist and fellow at the Economic Strategy Institute. He has done a number of grid studies that have included many biotech and pharmaceutical firms. He is the author of the North Carolina grid study and a US grid study. Both of these included over 20 case studies with grid users in the life sciences. He has recently completed a study of grid use in Japan that included several pharmas. He has participated in planning many Global Grid Forum meetings.
