Biography
Kelly Vizzini
CMO, DataSynapse.

As Chief Marketing Officer at DataSynapse, Kelly Vizzini works to leverage the company's existing successes and domain expertise to build a brand identity that positions DataSynapse as the de facto standard in the U.S. and European markets for distributed computing solutions.

Prior to her role at DataSynapse, Vizzini served as vice president of marketing at Prescient, one of the fastest-growing providers of supply chain planning solutions for consumer products companies. There she devised, managed and executed the company's go-to-market strategy and was responsible for the creation of an impressive lead-generation infrastructure to support Prescient's aggressive and fully integrated marketing programs, resulting in increased name recognition and generation of inbound sales leads.

Previously, Vizzini was vice president of corporate marketing at Optum, Inc. In that role, Vizzini was responsible for managing all aspects of promoting the company's brand, products and services. Before joining Optum, Vizzini held marketing positions at Metasys and InfoSystems, where she developed integrated marketing campaigns to support the sales organizations.

Vizzini holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from the University of South Carolina. She currently serves on the marketing steering committees of industry standards bodies the Enterprise Grid Alliance (EGA) and the Global Grid Forum (GGF) and is a frequent columnist for several industry magazines.
