Biography
William Fellows
Principal Analyst, The 451 Group.

William Fellows is one of the founders of The 451 Group. After helping start the company in New York, he has since moved to London. He is a leading thinker on events in the enterprise software, grid computing and mobile technology markets. Specifically, he was one of the first analysts to spot such trends as the rise of new storage technologies and wireless LANs.

Fellows has spoken at and moderated a number of industry events in both the software and mobile sectors. He has also been quoted in leading publications in the US and Europe. As a principal analyst, he is a key influencer across the IT industry. Fellows has also helped create and write many of the 451 Special Reports, in addition to leading the efforts of the 451 Grid Adoption Research Service.

With more than a decade of experience writing about the technology industry, Fellows was formerly the US Editor of Computergram International. Prior to that, he was editor of Unigram.X. His experience in reporting on emerging IT markets in Eastern Europe led to him co-creating a joint venture in the former Soviet Union with a state ministry. He then helped found Computergram's US office in New York, extending the publication's reputation into US technology markets and on to Wall Street.

Fellows holds an MS in Information Systems and Theory from the University of Portsmouth, UK.
