Speakers: Rachana Ananthakrishnan, Senior Software Developer - DSL, Argonne National Lab. Jarek Gawor, Senior Software Developer, Argonne National Lab.
This session will focus on the advanced features of Java WS Core and present
the best programming practices and tips for efficient Java WS Core
programming. The session will also cover the security infrastructure, the
new features of Java WS Core and describe the future plans.
Java WS Core is a Web Services Development Kit (WSDK) for Java. It provides
tools, libraries, and API for building, deploying and hosting stateful web
services. It is an implementation of WS-Resource Framework (WSRF) and
WS-Notification (WSN) family of specifications. Java WS Core also includes a
web services security stack for authentication and authorization of web
services invocations. The security stack supports the Web Services Security
Specification for message protection and provides an attribute-based
authorization engine with delegation of rights.
Attendees should have basic experience with building a web service using
Java WS Core.
