CSX was the first floor-based stock exchange to automate order execution and as technology evolves it continues to be an early adopter of results-orientated technology. It began its enterprise Grid implemenation in 2002 and the benefits it has realised include higher qualities of service, lower total cost of ownership and the ability to establish a services-based architecture that will further distinguish it as a technology leader.
