An overview of the UK government investment in the development of a knowledge transfer network specifically aimed at generating interest and adoption of grid computing technologies. In particular, the development of a supporting web infrastructure; the planning and execution of a series of live and on-line events; the development of a portfolio of real life case studies and the challenges and achievements of engaging specific industry sectors will be discussed.
