The last 12 months have been an exciting year for Globus, with
widespread adoption of Globus Toolkit version 4 (GT4), the launching
of the dev.globus community development process and environment, the
establishment of numerous new Globus incubator projects, and the
emergence of major new Globus-based projects around the world. 2006
also marked the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Globus
project in August 2006. In this talk, I review the year's
accomplishments, discuss obstacles encountered and lessons learned,
and propose goals that should motivate the Globus community's work in the
year ahead. Please join us immediately after this presentation to celebrate
