Associate Director, Yang, Wenli.
Wenli Yang is a principal research scientist at the Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS), College of Science, George Mason University. He receives his Ph.D. in geography (remote sensing and GIS) from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His current research areas include geospatial information standards and Web-based geospatial data and information systems. He is a task lead for many of CSISS projects in geospatial information. He served as a US expert in a number of ISO-TC211, Geographic Information, standardization projects. He is an active participant in various Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) interoperability initiatives. He is one of the major developers of CSISS' NASA Web GIS Software Suite (NWGISS).
