Pascal Kleijer received his Master of Science in Computer Science
(specialized in Software Architecture) in 1999 at the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). His master thesis was in the
field of complex product modeling through distributed services in
collaboration with IBM Research Zurich. He joined NEC Central Research
Laboratories to work on remote visualization services for High
Performance Computing (HPC) and Human-Machine interfaces. Since 2003 he
joined the HPC marketing promotion division at NEC Corporation and works
since on different projects related to Web services and lately Grid
services for HPC. His interest is mostly in end-user applications with
distributed services.
