Broadcast Executive, BBC Northern Ireland.
Stephen Craig is the Broadcast Executive for BBC Northern Ireland with 23 years experience in the Broadcast industry, specifically Broadcast technology. Stephen has been BBC Northern Ireland's Broadcast Executive since 1997, spending a considerable proportion of his time contributing to the development of the BBC's public service digital services. In the past five years, Stephen has worked closely with other BBC Nations developing future television transmission strategies, and has project managed two successful technical pilot projects.
Stephen is responsible for the development and support of the core broadcast infrastructure and transmission systems within BBC Northern Ireland. He is the BBC Northern Ireland representative on the Gridcast project, and has worked closely with the Gridcast project team, providing them with information about the BBC's infrastructure and current broadcast process. This has enabled the project team to identify opportunities for Grid services in a broadcast environment.
