  Chief Strategist and Founder, Appistry, Inc.
 Bob Lozano is a technology industry veteran, serial entrepreneur, and co-founder of Appistry, the company pioneering application fabric software. Bob currently serves as the company's Chief Strategist, where he plays an instrumental role in charting the company's business and technology strategy. Bob previously served as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, providing direction for the company as it developed its foundational technology, broadened its management team, and recruited its early customers. An experienced entrepreneur with a history of building successful companies, Bob previously founded and led PaylinX, a leader in the payment solutions market. The award-winning PaylinX Payment Server enabled transaction processing and control for Internet and electronic commerce applications. PaylinX was acquired by CyberSource (NASDAQ CYBS) in July 2000. Prior to PaylinX, Bob was President and co-founder of Tapestry Computing, a regional systems integrator and reseller that grew to become the 20th largest Oracle reseller in North America. Bob's experience also includes management positions with Southwestern Bell, Monsanto, Sandia National Laboratories, and Intelligent Computer Systems. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. In addition, he has lectured on artificial intelligence at Washington University in St. Louis.
