Senior Research Scientist, NCSA.
Jim Basney is a senior research scientist at the National Center for
Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign where he leads the MyProxy project, which provides
credential management software for the Globus Toolkit. Jim also
maintains the Globus Toolkit GSI-OpenSSH single sign-on remote login
and file transfer software. Jim received his PhD in computer sciences
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he worked as a graduate
research assistant on the Condor project.
