Cheryl Doninger is the Director of the Enterprise Computing Infrastructure department at SAS Institute Inc. As senior manager for a large product development group, Doninger plays a key role in setting the company's technical direction in the areas of software communications, scalability, and grid computing. During her nearly 20 years at SAS, she has served as technical lead and manager for a line of software products that are the foundation for SAS' large-scale parallel processing capabilities. As industry leader and advocate for grid technology, Doninger is often invited to participate in conferences and contribute technical papers on this subject. Shel has an BS in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and an MS in Computer Studies from North Carolina State University.
