Joe has been in the computing industry for over twenty-five years having held positions in sales, product marketing, and research and analysis. He most recently served as President of Clabby Analytics, a firm that helped information system (IS) executives to quickly understand the latest technology trends, and IS buyers to set vendor selection criteria in order to make informed buying decisions.
Noted for his public speaking abilities, Joe has spoken around the world on evolving computing trends. He is also a technology author, having published two books with Prentice Hall (Visualize This, an exploration of how sensory technologies will be used to create virtual Internet worlds of the future, and Web Services Explained, an analysis of what Web services are, how they work, who uses them, and a critique of leading vendor's Web services platform and software offerings.)
